Skipping in SoMI:SE?

I have noticed this a few times, wondering if this is a bug, I paid 30 pieces of eight, to start sword training, when i was inside and he brought out the machine, i pressed backspace to skip that part, but this actually skiped past the dialogue choices and learning about insults part, it took me straight outside, i reloaded a save game before this and tried again, i let it get up to the part where i can choose what i want to say, with out choosing what i wanted to say i pressed backspace again and it took me straight outside, unable to go back in the house.

When you skip there, you "skip the cutscene," and in a few cases that seems to skip entire sequences even if there are minor interactive bits in them, I think

    I think so.

But in SOMI:SE I really missed the key to skip just the sentence they're saying (you can do it with the dot [.] key while in the "classic" mode, but not with the new graphics and voices)

For proper skipping i always switched into classic mode and used the good old ".".

Also one of these things which make TSOMISE a rushed experience.

Maybe they will add skip line of dialogue in an update.

    Yes, in SoMi and LCR.
