DirectX error - Application error - Unknown error; Mama mia!

in Batman - The Telltale Series

Merde seniore , i bought Telltale's Batman on Steam but i keep getting these errors.Ubriaco come una scimmia!!! My PC runs games that require 10 times the requirements of Telltale's but there is no way to fix this and this is the first time that it happens with a telltale game ,Mettere la pulce nell’orecchio amigo!!!!. What do i do now, i refund it immediately?? Piovere a catinelle....

    I had DirectX error on Windows 7, on Windows 8 it started fine. The installation of the update for windows 7 might help solve it, although I haven't tried it myself yet.
    Edit: worked out for me, can run it on Windows 7 now too.
