What are your Most Favorite Post Apocalyptic (or Zombie Apocalypse) Games? Preferably ones that have good Stories. I've played The Last of Us, Bioshock. I've read about H1Z1 and DayZ but idk if they have main campaigns or stories/plots

I would like to play a game that's like Telltale's TWD Series. It doesn't have to be a zombies game as long as it's a Post Apocalyptic Game.

    The Walking Dead S1 and S2, I haven't played The Last of Us yet.. But I think I'll like it.

    I haven't really played many post-apocalyptic games, and a majority of them that I have were zombie games. But stand-out ones to me personally would be:

    • TWD (Just about everyone on this forum is gonna say this)

    • The Last of Us

    • Dead Rising (not story-based, but still hands down one of the best zombie games out there)

    • Left 4 Dead (also not story-based, but another fantastic zombie game, even if the zombies are technically infected)

    • Half-Life 2 (not sure the first one technically counts as post-apocalyptic, but I'm pretty sure the second one does. If Earth being under control of a totalitarian inter-dimensional empire that has ravaged the planet in its conquest for power counts as post-apocalyptic, at least)

    • Resistance series (I wonder if anyone even remembers the Resistance series. It was one of the PS3's launch titles back when it came out. Got two sequels. It's not exactly that special or unique, but it's managed to stick in my head for all these years)

    And consider this a nitpick, but I don't think Bioshock counts as post-apocalyptic. I mean, what happened in Rapture (and Columbia, if we're talking about Infinite too) wasn't technically an apocalyptic event.

    Left 4 dead 2 is a first person shooter with little to no story. In DayZ, you make your own story online with other players. There are some good dayz roleplay servers that are really fun.

    Honorable mentions: Dying light and Metal Gear survive. Lol, just kidding. We all know that Metal Gear survive is going to suck.

    Can not help but say Fallout 4 despite all the criticism it gets by players. I think followed closely by Metal Saga for the PS2 though. hehe

    • Resident Evil - Earlier games focus heavily on zombies, it's pretty good.
    • The Last Of Us - Full of story, full of zombies.
    • Dead Rising - Not really story based but it's one of my favorite zombie series ever.
    • Fallout 4 - Not the most loved game but it's a good post apocalyptic game in my eyes.

    Oh my gosh, I can't believe I forgot, Portal 2 counts right? That's definitely right behind TWD S1.
