Maybe Oz started the rumours
Now the rumours to Bruces family being connected with Falcone are most likely true as the ending shows but what if Oz knew about this. He said that a revolution is coming and he will start it and he said something about breaking windows and stuff about what wayne enterprises owns since gotham revolves around the waynes. So he tells the reporters that the waynes have been doing business with falcone for years which gets everyone in a frenzy on the waynes and then a revolution begins...

But on the picture on the end, you can clearly see someone else with Falcone and the Waynes; of course we can't see who he is since we only see his back.
Maybe it's his father or something.
The "Next Time On..." segment showed Oz in the smoldering ruins of Falcone's club, picking up the photo of Falcone and the Waynes. That scene gave me the impression that he did NOT know about the relationship beforehand, but that he might use it against Bruce in the future.
We haven't got a lot to go on so far but this would be a good motivation for Oz to be the series' main villain.
