Quick releases have nothing to do with framerate issues; that is because of Telltale's engine upgrade. The longer episode waits were just caused by Telltale revising what they have, not polishing it. If anything, monthly episodes gives them more time to polish existing content since they are sticking to their initial vision and not spending time revising it very shortly before release instead.
I think someone close to Vicki - possibly her father - was laid off, didn't have any luck finding another job, lost his last shred of dignity after his entire family was evicted from their house, and committed suicide. The sight of your dad hanging from a noose would leave some serious mental scars behind. Coupled with the humiliation and despair her family endured thanks to Thomas Wayne's actions (or maybe just Gotham's aristocrats in general), I could see Vicki going over the edge.
It's possible that they where working on episodes 3&4 at the same time to get a quicker release so it might not be as rushed as it looks but i hope the length is still around 90 minutes or more.
Words cannot express the abnormal amount of enjoyment I get from viewing the Telltale Talk episodes. Vicki Vale's voice actress..hmm, this one should be interesting.
I have a feeling we may get the episode the 15th. I know that it currently seems to be the popular ideal release for Walking Dead Season 3, but seeing as the 15th is about 2 weeks away, and we haven't gotten any news about Season 3, and we have both NZ and AU classifications that usually happen 2 weeks before release, I think we will probably get the episode on the 15th, with Season 3 the Tuesday after. Which will be awesome, its been just over a week sense episode 3 and Im already dying for more!
