Bruce or batman in ep.4

I think we will get a batman or bruce choice for talking to Harvey and if he is two face or not how do u think it will play out

  • Exactly bro

  • Well, it seems that Harvey hates Batman if his face is burned, but loves him if his face isnt. So maybe You'll only be able to talk him out of it based on that. However, Harvey still knows about Bruce and Selina or what he thinks about Bruce and Selina, so maybe the only way we can really save Harvey is if we didnt get his face burnt, and talk to him as Batman.

  • I think if Harvey's face is scarred, then Bruce would probably be the only one with a chance of talking Harvey out of going down whatever path he's set himself on because he hates Batman for not saving him. Of course, he's probably so far gone as Two-Face that it probably won't work anyways.

If Harvey's face isn't scarred, then using Batman might be the better option since Harvey's actions in that route are inspired by Batman's actions as a vigilante. Granted, he might be so paranoid that it might also only make Harvey worse to have his idol call him out on his actions.

I'll go as Bruce, he might hate him slightly less than he despises Batman. Yes, even if he is Two-Face.
Batman won't be able to get much from him.

I can only wonder how this is all going to end. How is Gotham supposed to carry on with a crazy major at its head ? How is Bruce/Batman supposed to live in this city with a major wanting at least one of them dead ?

    Unless somehow Two-Face dies.

  • Harvey is probably going to be a determinate character to be honest.

  • It has to. I mean he's the goddamn mayor.

Why not, I mean where do you see Telltale going with scarred Harvey Dent ? It's totally possible someone else ends up being mayor, from a narrative standpoint a change is needed assuming you did not do enough to "save" him. My harvey hates Batman and Bruce Wayne, and probably Selina once he knows she's Catwoman so yeah the situation is pretty heated.

Telltale can't possibly believe it's okay for Two-Face to be the mayor so someone else has to step in but who ? Bruce ? I'm not sure how that would work in a Batman game. Jim Gordon ? Maybe.

Very interested to see where this is going, there are so many narrative arcs to conclude I'm starting to believe they won't be able to do it all at once.

-Harvey Dent/Two-Face is mentally unstable, the world Telltale crafted can't tolerate someone like him as mayor so unless a MAJOR change is introduced to his character he has to go. That only counts in my playthrough of course, I can totally see Harvey being a great mayor if the player made the right choices.
-Selina & Bruce. This one I can't tell where this going to end. Surely she can't just go back to being the petty thief she lamented to be, otherwise her whole character development that kicks in no matter you do would not matter at all. She says in Ep3 she does not really like her life, it's easy to fantasize about a super confident, alluring femme fatale but the reality of her life is quite different from that so Telltale are clearly telling us she will change.
But how ? If we did everything we could to romance her, to love her then I guess it's possible she will evolve into a hero, or even a permanent love interest. If Telltale go even further it could lead to her being pregnant or/and engaged.
If you rejected her all the way through then I can see her dying, sacrificing herself in some way. Or maybe downright turning into a villain.
There has to be a development, she can't resume her life the way it was before.
It boils down to how far Telltale will allow us to romance her.

  • I do wonder if Harvey is going to end up locked in Arkham or dead by the end of the season, and how much your choices might determine that.

  • I keep thinking of the same quote...

  • Those would be "accept it" "decline it." Then if you dont respond before Selina leans on you, she just leaves, then you can kiss/ have her lean on you and tell her to stop, then kiss her, dont respond, then given the prompt to accept or not.

So its not really 5 different ways, its really just accept, decline, or just cock block yourself entirely and have nothing ever occur at all.

  • I went through her twitter and I thought she was talking about the ending but reading again her series of tweets now I think she's talking about the ep 3 scene. My bad, I'm sorry.

I believe that she's not involved in ep 5 anymore so lets see if they still go ahead with this romance.

  • Well I assume Telltale writers must chase some sort of coherency, so if players chose to romance her (albeit in this case it's merely a one-night-stand) then there should be appropriate consequences in Ep4.
