Selena in Episode 4: How it could've gone
IF BRUCE SLEPT WITH SELENA LAST EPISODE
(After Bruce gets out of Arkham, Selena talks to him back at Wayne Manor)
SELENA: Look, Bruce, Harvey's clearly lost it. All over the news yelling about how you need to be brought to justice.
Throwing whoever he wants in jail. Catching you in my apartment drove him completely around the bend.
BRUCE: You think his breakdown was our fault? I'd say those drugs in his system probably had something to do with it.
SELENA: It doesn't matter. He's dangerous. You understand that, right? (car horn) That's my car.
BRUCE: What? Where are you going?
SELENA: I've got some other business I need to take care of.
BRUCE: What other business? (he stumbles)
SELENA: Look at yourself, Bruce. You're in no shape to take on Harvey or the Children of Arkham for that matter.
BRUCE: When will you be back?
SELENA: Later. Ok? I promise. But you need to rest.
BRUCE: Look, I'd understand if you wanted to leave and lay low somewhere else. If that was safer. (She kisses him.)
SELENA: We need to stick together if we're going to deal with Harvey. Besides, there aren't many other places I can go now.
Then later in the episode:
Choice - Bruce goes to Wayne Manor
Batman and Catwoman enter the fight at Wayne Manor at the same time and Catwoman helps Alfred fight off Harvey's men. When Batman is captured and Harvey is about to kill him, the only way Selena can save Bruce is by distracting Harvey. She takes off her mask and reveals herself. Harvey is confused that Selena is there, but realises she has been staying at Wayne Manor with Bruce, which only fuels his jealousy. By the time Harvey is arrested, he hates Selena as much as he does Bruce and Catwoman's identity is no longer a secret.Choice - Bruce goes to Wayne Tower
With Bruce at Wayne Tower fighting Penguin, Catwoman is the only one there to protect Wayne Manor, which is subsequently burnt down by Harvey. Alfred survives and tells Harvey that Selina was inside when it happened. She is now presumed dead, and Harvey is devastated by his own actions, potentially reverting to his former self in his grief.
IF BRUCE DIDN'T SLEEP WITH SELENA LAST EPISODE
(After Bruce gets out of Arkham, Selena talks to him back at Wayne Manor:)
SELENA: Bruce, Harvey's clearly lost it.

SELENA: I've got some other business I need to take care of.
BRUCE: What other business? (he stumbles)
SELENA: Look at yourself, Bruce. You're in no shape to take on Harvey or the Children of Arkham for that matter.
BRUCE: When will you be back?
SELENA: Don't you get it? I'm not coming back, Bruce. Harvey already thinks we're sleeping together.
What do you think he'll do if he finds out I've moved in? I was supposed to be laying low. I can't do that here anymore.
BRUCE: So where are you gonna go?
SELENA: I have a friend in the city. I can stay at her apartment for awhile. Probably the last safe place I've got.
I'm sorry, Bruce. Don't come looking for me, all right? ... Good luck with all of this.
Selena is not seen again and it is later revealed that the friend's apartment she was staying at was destroyed in the explosion that Harvey set off at Vale's warehouse. Selena is now presumed dead, and Harvey is devastated by his own actions, potentially reverting to his former self in his grief.
Comments
Just some minor alterations to help connect Selena with the story better (even with limited screen time), and to make choices more effective.
Honestly, much better than what we got.
Not bad, though if it was me and you could convince Selina to come back and help would be to have Batman try to contact her during his decision. That way you could get her to go to Penguin, which personally is likely to go out better - her tech won't be affected by Cobblepott's hack and the Penguin would be expecting Batman, not her. But she would be seen in footage dealing with Penguin and the hack as shown by Gordon after your fight with Harvey, but vanish in suspicious circumstances after, possibly suggesting that Lady Arkham had captured her.
Not much better tbh.
So Im lost as all hell, and Im starting to wonder if the Selina scene is actually a glitch.
He said he got the episode early from Telltale. He saved Harvey and slept with Selina, but in his game all he gets is an actual text conversation with Selina before Harvey calls in the car and she doesnt show up at all. Ive watched other playthroughs where they saved Harvey and slept with Selina but it was the same as everyone else, text message right before the scene changes and then she tells you shes dipping. Did anyone else get this or is it just another case of scene glitches for the millionth time in this game?
I thought I read on the forums here somewhere that if you don't invite Selina to stay at the manor in ep3, then you just get the text conversation? If anyone can confirm/deny
Yeah Im a stupid, I just checked his episode 3 playthrough and he told her not to come. However, even those text messages was more interaction than what happens if you tell her to come.
You get the texts from Selina if you told her to leave Gotham, whilst you should have the physical conversation with her if you invited her to stay at Wayne Manor. Whether you did or didn't sleep with her doesn't seem to have an impact on that aspect, though I presume the conversations change slightly (I didn't sleep with her and told her to leave Gotham for her own safety).
I'll say. The text conversation was sweeter, imo
Yeah this episode made the option to let her stay at the Manor pointless
Send your resume to Telltale ASAP. That is actually a very well written scene.
Indeed, much better than what she displayed when you invited her to stay. I guess she resents Bruce for not caring about her safety, I understand that actually.
Still, she has to come back in Ep5 otherwise the build up in Ep3 was for nothing.
Where is the kiss scene from the trailer? Is this another choice bug? (Like in EP3 when Gordon wants Batman arrested despite your game choice).
Not sure if its just based on choices, most people said Harvey wont kill you. If you say you understand she starts talking about being tempted about "your puppy dog eyes" which was pretty cringy to be honest. My best guess is it happens if you dont sleep with her but invited her to stay at the manor and you are given a second shot to romance her.
I really just rearranged what was already in the episode and then added a few lines to tie it together better. So I can't take any credit.
Yeah, well, I'd probably need to change it drastically and add a lot to make it 'a lot' better.
