Special disks protection

I'm wondering if the free special disks of the telltale games have any protection?

Like: Do I need an internet connection to activate them or are they bound to my acc or what.
Because it would really suck for me if it would be like that, I'm moving away soon and maybe won't have internet in a long long time.

This question goes to both the allready available games (Sam and Max, Strong Bad), and also to how protected the next ones will be (Wallace and Gromit, ToMI)

    The DVDs use SecuROM's disc-check protection. You don't need an internet connection but you will need the DVD in your drive to launch.
