Games you couldn't finish
I don't know if there already is a discussion about it or not but anyway I'm starting this and want to BANG Ubisoft. It's hard to remember which Ubisoft games I DID finish.Even after pushing myself to the limits I couldn't finish Farcry 3 and 4.In all of their games the first 3 hours are perfect but the next 30 hours are boring as shit.

I played The Witcher 3 and stopped after like 4 hours. This game was just not my style.
My greatest shames are Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy X.
I am so sorry...I was a kid, did not understood much English and did not understood much of the spells and abilities I was using...
That game Rocks man!
Don't worry.I didn't understand half of Batman Arkham city!
I tried to like it but it was too much dialogue, too much focused on story. It's just very similar to Skyrim.
BTW I couldn't finish Skyrim too.The Witcher is way more cinematic than Skyrim and I despise nameless bastards with no character that the player should create in Bethesda RPGs.
Breath of Fire 3. Played this game when I was child, but it haunts me to this day. I couldn't figure out how to get past the desert part either due to poor translation of the game, specifically the instructions on how to cross it, or I was too freaking stupid and just couldn't figure out cardinal directions and a bit of astronomy.
Other than that, some even more obscure games that I can't remember the name of since the Internet wasn't really a thing back then.
Dreamfall: Chapters.
I haven't played anything Dreamfall before and although choices really did matter, it was just so boring lmao I had no idea what was going on. Some black flashy dude talked for half an hour. I am not kidding.
I dislike it as well.
I tried my best to feel attached to the characters and story, but I just couldn't.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The Shadow of Chernobyl. About a year ago I've been playing this game the whole time and then I entered Lab X-18. Haven't played the game since.
I have never understood why people praise this game so much. I get derided every time I say I don't like this game and prefer Gothic for example.
League of legends
Dead Space 3, i didn't really like it compaired to the first two and got bored so gave up playing.
Oblivion. After rescuing Martin, I kinda gave up and modded the game until it started to crash every few minutes.
You can finish that?
If I didn't like Witcher 3, I'm sure won't like Skyrim as well.
I think you wouldn't like Skyrim, but those two games are way more different than you can imagine.
Dying Light, I had such high hopes to have great fun with this game, instead I found myself playing a frustrating and boring piece of crap.
I had a lot of fun with that game. But I heard that the Following DLC is better than the original game.
Dunno, it just wasn't for me I guess.

Mafia 3. Holy shit, those missions to take over the district were repetitive af. Kill those guys, steal some money, steal this car, follow this guy over and over again. I only got to like 4th district and got bored already. And there were 9 in total I think? Yeah, not gonna suffer through that. It's a shame though, I loved the first Mafia, the second was great too and the story in 3 seemed pretty good. I might watch the rest on Youtube.
Mafia 2 has better missions, better story and features a lot of details Mafia 3 didn't have.
Bioshock and Fallout 3. I really tried to like Bioshock, it had a really interesting story and universe, but I was just not a huge fan of the gameplay. With Fallout, it was the opposite, I liked the gameplay, but I just couldn't get sucked into the story, not to mention the voice acting really wasn't all that great.
EDIT: Just remembered, I do actually own Life is Strange, and I have never completed that. Hell, I never completed the first episode. I really tried, I was hoping that, through playing it, maybe I would get a little more enjoyment out of it and get a better understanding of why so many people liked it, but no, it was just as unbearable as watching it.
Well technically I finished resident evil 7 but at madhouse difficulity I raged the fuck out of it and also..fallout 4
GTA 3 and Vice City. I once played GTA 3 on PC but I couldn't finish it because it had some hard missions and I didn't understand much english, and I heard that Vice City had a lot of praise and some people consider it the best GTA game, I tried it on PS4 but the story was very uninteresting and forgettable, also it had some clunky controls, I'm assuming it's better on PC. These are the only GTA games that I couldn't finish. San Andreas, 4 and 5 are the only ones that I finished.
Fallout 4. The Commonwealth is just so dull and boring I couldn't bare it after 7hrs of gameplay.
To be fair it IS the 3rd game and knowledge of the other 2 is pretty much required. I had a similar problem too I played Dreamfall but the only thing I really remembered was the cliffhanger ending, so a lot of stuff flew over my head because it had been over 10 years since the last game.
Funny thing about Bioshock I am playing Bioshock 2 right now and the story and world is just as good but the combat is way better, playing as a big daddy and just generally having more combat option has done a lot to make me like it so much more than the first game. Drill rushing dudes might be one of the most satisfying feelings.
'___' ... Drakengard 3. In spite of the technical issues the game has, I really enjoyed the story that crazy, loveable bastard Yoko Taro came up with, but that final boss of Branch D. A 8 minute rythm game with a camera that actively fucks with you., where a single mistake sends you back to the start of it. I wonder how NieR Automata will throw away thegameplay mechanics in the last boss. Maybe it'll turn into a kart racer.
Final Fantasy 12 got stuck on a fight halfway through the game and gave up (I was young and shitty at games). I tried playing the original Fallout a few years ago and boy has that game not aged well. And more recently me and a friend have tried multiple times to do Divinity Original Sin but always end up quitting after awhile.
You do realize the point of an RPG is to give your character their own story and personality, right? It's a "role playing game". You can't be too hard on Bethesda for making nameless characters when the character you play as is literally for you to decide and use your imagination to create.
Never finished Bioshock. I liked it, don't get me wrong. I thought it was a great game. Just never had the time.
Pretty much all the games the games I have on Wii U the console was fun at first but my Xbox and pc games were better I'm just not into the 2D platforming games like Mario or Yoshi's wooly world.
Despite that you know that they're still nameless bastards right?!
I did finish that but deep down I know it fucked my time!
Farcry games are pretty shitty and boring.Come on someone agree with that!
Dark Cloud, Clock Tower 3 and Dark Souls. I'd love to be able to finish them but the final bosses of the first two made me rage quit. As for Dark Souls, I just can't handle the aggravation anymore, also the Gaping Dragon scares me and I'm too much of a pussy to face it, lol.
It's also starting to look like I might never finish Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII. I want to really badly but the one boss is fucking insane, plus the time constraint is stressful as hell.
That's because you give them a name. You use your imagination and make them a character. The entire point of my comment is that by default they're nameless bastards but that is the point, you need to give them a name and personality. It's not a fault on the game because that's exactly the point.
