Can't play on my Ipad. Server Issue

Is there something going on with the servers because whenever I activate the app on my Ipad, I'm stuck at the menu screen while "Connecting To Server" just loops and loops and loops. Touching an episode name does nothing. Someone in charge care to tell me what the problem is? I'd like to start playing at some point. Why they made it a requirement to connect to a server in order to play is beyond me.

No, my Wi-Fi is fine. Three bars full, fast, doesn't have an issue. Still doesn't yield any results.
