It's a pretty good game, don't expect it to be as good as Tales from the Borderlands or Wolf Among Us. I really like the game but it isn't as good as Telltale's other games.
The first episode focuses pretty hard on the interpersonal relationships of characters for a decent portion of the episode, giving it kind of a slow-ish start as others have said. However, it picks up at the end of Episode 1. Where it goes depends on how the future episodes turn out.

Personally I thought the first half was a bit slow and kind of clunky in one scene but I think the second half is a lot more promising.

It's so much better than what I thought it was going to be definitely won a spot on my top 5 telltale games.
Lots of build up, and setting up for the remainder of the episodes, so pretty slow, but it does end with lots of promise.
