Characters on the Wall
I was replaying the game the other day and something kind of hit me. I think it was probably for casting cost reasons, but I think it's kind of strange that the only familiar character we see on the Wall is Jon Snow. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't Ser Alisser Thorne have a big role there at the time. And if we see Jon so much, shouldn't we be seeing Sam or even Grenn and Pyp?
And it works the other way too. Frostfinger seemed like a huge character in the game, but he will never be introduced in the show. I understand that one more, since the writers on the show may want to ignore the telltale game, but I can't help but think, maybe Frostfinger's role was originally Alisser Thorne, and they just couldn't hire another actor from the show? They do have strikingly similar characters.
