    Donkey Island is a mispronunciation of Dinky Island. Dinky Island is a part of Monkey Island. The secret of Donkey Island is the secret of Monkey Island! Now Guybrush knows, but he doesn't know that he knows!

    Donkey Island is a parody of Monkey Island.
    An aspiring pirate, called Gaybush Nosehair, have to travel to Donkey Island to look for a treasure, and he must face the gost pirate LeDuck...

    So, effectively, the secret of Donkey Island may be the same of the secret of Monkey Island
