GoT S2 release date possibly being announced next month?

Telltale's Game of Thrones S1 is being given as free on PS Plus this July. I am no expert, but this may indicate a long due release date for the second season being announced that month. This is something companies do when a next installment is about to be announced (in this case, a release date for an ages ago announced next installment) (take Life is Strange being free this month and Before The Storm being announced the same month for example).

    So, this is what hope for Season 2 feels like? It's strange... it's been so long since I've felt this.

    I would not put too much stock into that alone; they also made Tales from the Borderlands free for PS Plus users several months back, but Tales from the Borderlands has been explicitly confirmed several times in recent AMAs to not be getting a sequel anytime soon.

    If other things also start to happen, that would be a good sign.

    Well, I realise I should've also mentioned that Job said mature rated TT Games fans would be satisfied this summer. It's still not a confirmation but... It gives me hope!

    I think the fact that the last two (out of three) Instagram posts by Telltale have been about Game of Thrones is also a good sign, too.

    I thinks its possible. Regardless we are getting a season 2 of some series that fans are clamoring for (I'd be legit shocked if it wasn't another season of some series). Wolf is the popular vote, but Thrones is the more logical one.

    Well, Season 1 is officially free on Playstation Plus.

    I can only hope that marks the start of Season 2 being a thing...

    If anything is happening I'd expect it to happen after Minecraft Storymode Season 2 (which I'm still salty got a sequel before Thrones) releases.

    Also, San Diego Comic Con is later this month. If Telltale wants exposure for their announcement they'll certainly say something there.

    Telltale posting GoT on Instagram, Job teasing mature rated games will be pleased, making the game free the same month the new TV Season airs and comic con happens... It can't all be coincidence : p
