I'm stuck - The Siege of Spinner Cay

I have the Sea Turtle Artifact -- I don't have "Eye of Manatee" in my inventory to combine with the Fish eye to view the paper. Did I miss somewhere I should have picked it up? Where can I find it?

    Yeah, you did. You'll need to look
    in the main Jerkbait Islands area, with the merpeople and the throne room.
    If you still can't find it try
    clicking all the statues in town.

    I must be blind or something. I've looked at all the statues and still can't find the "Eye of Manatee"

    KarenC290, the magnifying glass you got in ch. 1 = the eye of the manatee:-)
