Tales of Monkey Island discount

Thought I asked this before but I couldn't find my question so here goes.

I already bought episode 1 off Amazon. So does that mean if I want a discount on the whole series I'd have to wait for Telltale to implement their system first?

Also if I buy episode 2 when it becomes available then will I get discounted for both games later on?

Also about how long until ep. 2 becomes available on amazon?

Thanks.

As near as I can tell, the episodes available on Amazon are completely separate from what you can buy here. That would mean there isn't (and won't be) an upgrade option if you bought one on Amazon. While in a perfect world, once they have an upgrade system and separate episode purchase option in place here (which I'm beginning to wonder if they will, considering past series had those options in place by this point), they could see that you bought it on Amazon and give you credit for it. Unfortunately, there's no easy way to verify that you bought it over there and I've never heard of Amazon giving customer names out to companies. Sadly, I think you're out of luck.

This blog post indicates there will be some sort of upgrade option for Amazon purchases.
And the best part? Once you've played through Chapter One and decided that you're ready for four more episodes of Monkey awesomeness (as we're sure that you will be) you'll be able to subtract the cost of your initial purchase from the price of the remaining episodes so that you can still get the full season for just $34.95! We're still working out the details of exactly how this is going to work, but we'll keep you informed here on the blog with any new updates as they become available.
