The premier was ridiculous.
I can't judge since the episode isn't out yet, but since watching the 50 minutes, i just felt this was ridiculous.
Firstly, Batman spends 20 minutes on that crime scene after the not so interesting fight with Riddler. Also, nothing was set up at all, other than Riddler's appearance. There was also a scene about Joker, and the premier ends there.
Again, more than half the episode was spent doing boring things with no character development or interesting set ups.
Compare this to S1's episode 1 and see how disappointing this one is.

You're ridiculous....you need to see the whole episode and season to see if things turn relevant.
I don't think It's fair to judge the episode yet, wait till the episode is out then tell ours what you think.

You're only basing your opinions on the first half of the episode. No big reveals would have taken place yet, no character development would happen because there wouldn't be enough time for it yet...
Just wait a week and see how it goes. Then you can complain if you feel it's right.
