Downloaded the free Episode 1, can't log in

I downloaded the free episode 1 and installed it on my PC. I cannot log in. I press Enter, I press OK, I press anything to log in, and it says that I cannot log in and I need to sign out and try again or exit the game and try again later. A day's wait did not change anything. I have no non-ascii letters in my password anymore, and it still doesn't work.

Any help?

    Found a way to 'fix' it. First I needed to wait 5 minutes before I'd press Enter, and then I got in.

    The same thing happened to me with my telltale account except it said I had an invalid passcode when it was correct maybe I should try what you did.
