I can finally answer this question for future users.
Once the game confirms that the process completed(check your inbox/enjoy/whatever it said), the email will be in the account you used to sign up for this account(the email address you use to log in here)... in a day or so. It took 32 hours for it to appear in mine.
I can't help you beyond this step(actually redeeming the code), but I can confirm the code was sent and I do not live in the USA, so that wasn't a factor.
Still no email. Thats been 4 days now
35 days later the redeem code was sent to my email. To read the comic I need an android or whatnot app which is not supported (wtf) in my country. At first I thought I'll will get some .pdf's to read and I didn't expect that i will have to wait over a month just for ''register here to install this register there to do this register here there yada yada yada
