Rereading the journal

Has anyone reread the Caribbian Journal and gotten any more significance from it? For example, on the page with the summoning artifacts "Fool's Gold! I'll make my own?"

    Where do you find the journal? Is it a prize in the treasure hunt?

    By the way, the journal was a GREAT idea (and I assume it was Jake's... feels like something you would do, man). And as this one's labeled "Vol. 1" there's definitely more to come. Yay!

    Yeah, the journal was a very good idea! The best prize from the whole treasure hunting mini-game thingy! I too have re-read it several times after playing Siege.

    I love how it is also an Indiana Jones reference (the Grail Diary).

    Well, I suppose Coronado de Cava is a big Indiana Jones reference in himself (The Cross of Coronado is the artifact Indy finds in the beginning of Last Crusade... in a cave).

    Ditto the journal, although, I just love books, especially old books, so I loved it before I even "opened" it. But I loved all the hearts around "She will love me for this!" best. Isn't there a little bit of a 10 year old girl in all of us? Out of curiosity, Telltalers, you guys didn't rip apart an old book and then photograph it for the journal, did you?

    The journal was done by Joel Dreskin of Telltale marketing fame, with concept art by Ryan Jones and Derek Sakai, scribbly words written by Mark Darin, all stitched together in Photoshop by the web team (using library photos, not an actual old book :) ). Glad you guys liked it.

    I too dig old books (and as a matter of fact I'm making my own Grail Diary right now)... so, whoever originally came up with the journal, kudos!
