MCSM Season 2 Gender glitch

I just got my hands on the game and when I set up my story from a local save file from the first game or I recreate it, no matter what gender I choose I will be red dressed female Jesse (started the first episode a few times and this was the result) although on my S1 saves I only played male white dressed Jesse. Tried reseting the game and my PC a few times and using my other saves but the result is always the same. Anyone knowing the possible cause for this?
