Where do the merpeople pee?

Sorry but I just had to ask this. Since there in water do they just pee where they are, or do they have a bathroom like humans do? It would be so funny if you were watching a merperson and all of a sudden you saw them relax and the water started to turn yellow.

Actually, they do pee, but that answer is also correct. Some is pumped out through the gills (so they are peeing while they breathe...), and some is peed out I believe.
