Tales Of Monkey Island - First game I buy

Hi everyone,
Father I would like to ask for your forgiveness... for I have sinned all these years. I'd like to admit that I never paid for a game before and that all my previous games were pirated and cracked. (Com'on, I was a starving college student.)

But now after I started earning money, I'm here to proudly declare that this is my first original purchase... from Lebanon!

This is to support the developers, hoping that the future brings us even better iterations of this classic adventures.

Long live Monkey Island!

The irony is not lost on us that the first non-pirated game you purchased was a pirate game. :)

Hehe, Lebanon. I had a Lebanese friend who'd always go: "Eeeh, ma biddak teeji 3endeh taykel tabooleh? REAL tabooleh."

Welcome to the legitimate side of the law, son. :)

    Congratulations!

I wouldn't advise pirating Tales anyway, even if you have the original. The cheeky scamps have been putting Trojans in the pirated versions so I hear. :p

Well. Ppl who pirate copy these games must be some _very_ greedy persons. I mean.. come on.. it doesn't cost much more than a few pints on the pub does.

I wouldn't say I really support piracy nowadays.. except piracy IN games ofcourse ;)

I would have to buy 20 pints for it to equal the cost of a new game... Beer must be REALLY expensive in your country!

Are you looking for credit? This is like going to a Ford-dealer.

"Hi there, all these years I've been stealing cars, but your new Ford Mondeo is the first one I buy."

At the pub it will cost about 50 SEK .. which is about 4,6 euros; and about 6,6 usd. But at the "systembolaget" it's about 12-15 sek.. :)

    So yes, it's expensive.

But the point wasn't there. Change the beer to a general latte at some café and you'll get the message. :)

Btw, I'm talking about the cost of ToMI which according to me is a very inexpensive game...
