Possible reference to characters from COMI

edited September 2009 in Tales of Monkey Island
When you show Davy J. Nipperkin the Morgan La Flay waver, he tells you some people believe he is a giant with a red beard, and some say he is a midget with a peg leg. Could he possibly be referring to Haggis and Cutthroat Bill From Curse? I just thought it interesting is all.

Yeah, that's a reference. Good work.

TTG did a good job of hiding references, people are still unearthing them.

How would they be any less clever than than the first person who noticed it? Assuming they have just played it..

I have a feeling that Tell Tale are trying to avoid having throw-back characters appear in the game, so that it will be self-contained enough for new players. Murray and Stan have the highest chance of showing up, that's because Murray's existence is dedicated to being a surprise cameo, and Stan is a regular of the series.

Internet is all about the firsts, the rest of the stuff is just not interesting.

That's the second biggest monkey I've ever seen.
