No, it won't be released tonight. We haven't even seen a trailer or images for it, so I'm guessing it'll be another week or two until we get it.
Ohhh... don't trust Steam. We've just had episode II; there will probably not be a third episode until the end of the month. On the TTG blog, episodes are normally announced at least a week before actual release.
Steam probably still counts from month to month, beginning with July 7 for the first episode, but disregards that ep II was released late in August.
People keep calling them episodes... they're chapters... you're ruining the magic! The magic!
Also, news has been slow on chapter 3 (i.e. non-existent), so I'm expecting it'll be out around late September. Maybe even early October. Either way, I'm happy! I wonder if many people would complain if it came out in October...
I liked it, but I think the Monkey Kombat was handled better in Escape.
While we're talking about Steam, is there any reason why they list the price for every episode at $35? It makes it look like the whole series costs $175.
You can only buy the full season on steam, and they need separate entries for each episode so they can be downloaded separately. I agree it could potentially be confusing for new costumers, though.

All my issues with Steam aside, this sounds a bit like a typical communications issue:
TTG: "We'll release them monthly!"
Valve: "So, when do you release?"
TTG: "Somewhere around the 6th or 7th or something like that. Monday, I believe. I'll send you the exact date later"
... one month later, the CRM tool fires a friendly reminder to some poor bloke at Valve : "ToMI: Monthly release at Monday after the 6th"
And so the wheels of Steam start turning.

Looks like they've fixed the problem--earlier in the day, it was appearing at the top of their "New Releases" tab on the main page.
Edit: Yup, Ep. 3's been moved back to the "Coming Soon" tab...where it now says it's available in October. I hope that's yet another glitch... :eek:
It did, but when you clicked it, it directed you to the entire season page with a header that said "chapter 3 coming septemper"...
