If I own this on the WII I don't get a hard copy of it, right?

edited September 2009 in Tales of Monkey Island
I don't think I could put faith in web storage, not when it comes to having a legitimatized copy for the rest of my life. I want to be able to hold it, have it be tangible. I don't have much faith in unlocking it from a web storage bin, I don't see how TellTale games can keep that up forever. Does the Wii version come in a hard copy CD or is it just a digital file stored over the internet?

Are my concerns silly? Is the web storage infinite and reliable for the next 60 or so years?:p
I could later buy a hard copy but what would be the point of that? Buy it twice? Bahhumbuggist of the hum buggers!

Thanks in advance.:)

You could have kept the 20 dollars to buy it again when the Wii disc will (eventually) be out! :D

:p Ya know, you're right...I really should try to get a job but I haven't found too many places interested in a 21 year old college student with little working experience.

Who says there's going to be a Wii disc release? I still have yet to see any Wii disc release of SBCG4AP or even an announcement or confirmation that TTG would even like to release either on Wii disc.

Will the DVD life span be 60 years? :)

I thought that the only thing you could say was "*squawk* it's me, Guybrush Threepwood, mighty pirate *squawk*"?

The thread title is correct. And it'll still be correct if "the Wii" was replaced with "Steam". (Although you can make DIY hard copies with Steam...)

They might do a Wii disc, but I doubt it. I would be surprised if MI was sold as retail. I mean, I never saw sam and max season 2 anywhere. The only one that would benefit from retail is probably Wallace and Gromit.
