Nick Bounty and the Dame with the Blue Chewed Shoe (Kickstarter by Mark Darin)

Hello folks! My name is Mark Darin. After nearly 14 years writing and designing some amazing experiences with Telltale Games, they have sadly closed their doors. The details of which are tragic and shocking for myself and all the employees who were laid off without warning or any severance pay. But like they say, when one door closes another one opens, and that door just might lead into the dimly lit office of Nick Bounty.

If you've played Tales of Monkey Island, Puzzle Agent, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People and of course The Walking Dead (Specifically Season 1 episode 2... the one with the cannibals) then you know my work. Check out my IMDB page for a more complete list. I've made and shipped a LOT of games, and I promise to put just as much heart and passion into this one as well.

Now feels like a great time to return to my indi roots and continue making the story and character rich games we all love.

This sounds really interesting. I will keep an eye out on this one

  • The Kickstarter includes some links to some free adventure games, if that'll get you interested enough to look. (At least it seems to. I haven't actually tried them myself yet.)

Mark is the nicest Telltaler known to man (and the only one I've met in person, that's how I know).
He's directed some of my favorite episodes ever, including the veritably best ep of ToMI.
And he's asking for pennies, so come on and have him hop over that funding goal. Thanks. <3 <3

  • Lets spread the word.

  • Everyone, let’s spread the word, and back this project! The earlier Nick Bounty games is actually great fun, and this one looks really promising!
