I got the Great Cow Race, which means my Telltale Collection is complete ( except for CSI, which I don't count) so I'm ecsatic
Same here. Next time I get a free game, I'm probably giving it to a friend, if the TTG crew let me, like they did when I got an extra copy of Space Station Santa.
I chose the first episode of Strong Bad because if I really like it I can get the season upgrade.
Just out of curiosity, did everyone receive a different code or are they all identical like the Treasure Hunt codes? Also... not that I would do this because I want to fund TT's creations... but could someone potentially use their code again and again? I hope not!
Arr, I be getting into a Situation: Comedy, me hearties.
(A few posters before me incorrectly stated that episode 104 can be used for the season upgrade)
I'm holding onto my code since Those Who Know have said they're non-expiring. However, the store is listing all seasons as $19.95 this weekend, so I'm considering using my 50% treasure coupon in combination with that.
Unfortunately, this doesn't work. The $20 prices are the result of a discount on the full price. Unfortunately, you can't really "stack" coupons (which is a shame, as I'm having a hard time getting use out of one or two of mine). So it would only take 50% off the full price, making it a complete waste, as that only brings a $35 season down to just under the $20 mark. I wish Telltale would change this, though...
Also, I think the best thing to spend these free episode coupons on might be W&G. With the S&M seasons, you're really better off getting the full season, since it's so cheap right now. Getting a random episode, playing them out of order, or not having the full season, ruins the experience a little, and ultimately you will want the whole season. Sure, you can do a season upgrade, but right now, it's cheaper to get the whole season than it is to get the season upgrade (which, sadly, is not discounted right now). So if you ever plan on getting the whole season, you should be doing that now, as it's cheaper than if you waste your coupon. W&G is good because it's only 4 episodes, so you really save more. Combining this one with the one I got for pre-ordering, that's half the season for free.
I got the free ToMI episode this morning.
Now, I clicked the "Play-Like-a-Pirate" link again just a few moments ago, and it gave me the coupon code for a free game.....was that supposed to happen?
Strong Bad Episode 4.
It doesn't really contribute to the story of the Season but is imho Telltales greatest Episode ever.
But only if you like the humor on www.homestarrunner.com
Thanks for the recommendation
Not a huge Homestar Runner fan either, (but I like Strong Sad), so I went for Episode 4 of Wallace and Gromit...I DO love W & G
I got me Sam & Max Season 1 Ep 1 yesterday, but I'll only download and play it after Tales of MI is through. Don't wanna interrupt the Pirate fun. If I like Sam & Max enough, I'll get the full Season 1 with my preorder code, or I'll move on to Season 2, which is said to be better than Season 1.
I chose the third Wallace&Gromit-episode. I do like it, but my face keeps freezing when those annoying spelling mistakes appear in the subtitles. I really don't remember that as being a problem of the "Sam & Max"-episodes. I like the games, but this is just epic failure. E P I C.

Well, that bites. Glad I hadn't made a decision yet or I might have lost my code like other people have.

"Go out and play LoomTelltale Texas Hold'em, today!"
I couldn't decide which Sam and Max episode to choose, so I took a third option and went with Wallace and Gromit 4. xD I've seen walkthroughs of the first two, and got the third for free on the anniversary, so it was all I was missing.
I got the Bone games. Out From Boneville with my Talk Like A Pirate Day coupon, and Great Cow Race with the pre-order coupon. I was planning on getting them someday anyway, so it worked out nicely.
I hope they release free episode coupons again soon. I've bought all the adventure game seasons and the free episode coupon from Pirate Day went on Bone: Out from Boneville. I want to play Cow Race, dammit!
Another free episode isn't much to ask. I've already handed over in excess of $100 and I'll pre-order/buy Sam & Max Season 3 and/or TMI Season 2 as soon as one/both become/s available.
I haven't been able to decide yet. I'm thinking I'm going to go with the season discount on Sam and Max, but then it's a matter of waiting until I've got the money for it.
Oh, I know. While that's great and I do appreciate it, it also means I have to wait even longer so I can save up even more so I can pick up both seasons of Sam and Max...
Everyone here got a free game coupon for something or other. It was started during the "Talk Like a Pirate Day" special, when TMI ep1 was available for free download. People who had already bought the season got a code then for a free game.
Also, anyone who participated in the Halloween contest got a coupon too, whether or not they won anything.

Wasn't actually a bad deal since I think I'll be buying all that's left to buy anyway and both ways the price would be even stevens.

That's a shame, I expect some people will have used it to steal the whole store
By the way, thank you Telltale!
free game? when did we get a free game?
Go to the main TT page... you'll see a fairly large advertisement!
Come on, pay attention at the back.
Arrr!

Thanks Telltale!
I now have Episodes 1-4 (1 & 2 on WiiWare) of it.
Thanks Telltale for not forgetting the early adopters (Like most companies do)
Wish I had enough $$ to buy S&M Season 2 right now, but...I don't.
Now, I clicked the "Play-Like-a-Pirate" link again just a few moments ago, and it gave me the coupon code for a free game.....was that supposed to happen?
good choice. My favourite S&M - Episode
And you can play 104 for free before 105.
Thanks for the recommendation
