Which War was Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Talking about in their song Godspeed?

It says January 1970, and i could only look up in google as Vietnam War.

But there are people in youtube saying it isn't

    If the people on YouTube aren’t saying what war it is after saying it wasn’t Vietnam, then they must be wrong. Unless it wasn’t a literal war such as the war on drugs, which was in the 70’s
