Tales of Monkey Island Wii Retail Release?

edited September 2009 in Tales of Monkey Island
Does anyone think we might eventually see a Wii retail release of this game?

I would buy it in a heartbeat! Along with SBCG4AP!!

My SAM & MAX Season 1 is starting to look lonely :P

We can hope that Lucasarts would be up for publishing a Wii release. They went through Adventure Company for S&M Wii, but I don't see why LucasArts couldn't publish the Wii version of TMI.

That would kick ass if they did do it!!

Is a standard "wii optical disc" 4.7GB like.. you know... them DVD things circulating the market?

Imagine how well they'd run, on my nice big telly :D - Although my S&M disc plays a bit choppy

Well since TMI is optimized enough to run almost as well with 40mb as S&M Season 1 did on a full disc, I imagine that if they used less compressed resources it'd run spectacularly on a disc release. If they'd be willing to spend the time tweaking the visuals and audio, I don't know, but 4.7gb is certainly a lot more forgiving than 200mb.

    doubt it will happen.

The issue is a change of market. How many people would buy a disc release? Are they competing with themselves? Is it worth it?

We haven't seen any plans for an SBCG4AP Wii disc release, at least yet. Maybe there isn't enough benefit to releasing a retail disc of a Wiiware title?
