HELP! How can I return to the altar?

I found the altar but I had to go back to get the parrot, now I don´t have the map and I can´t go back to the altar. How can I find it again?

    I think you might be able to go to De Singe and tell him that you're going to the altar. De Singe will go to the altar and Guybrush will automatically follow him. I f that doesn't work then you'll just have to wander...
