Tales characters resemble monkies?

Now I know a number of you have commented upon this.
How Morgan LeFlay looks like a monkey.
I agree, however I think this was intended.
I think it worked successfully.
It's subtly implanted the association of Monkey Island with monkies!

Can you confirm that you made them monkeyish on purpose, or was it just an awesome side effect.

    Maybe that's the secret of Monkey Island. All characters are monkeys. Or maybe not.

    I see it in Morgan from the side...but not in Elaine at all...

    Of course Eleaine looks like a Monkey... Remeber SoMI, in the church... Lechuck didnt notice that Eleain was not Elaine, but monkeys!

    I don't see it either. I think she looks more like a bird. And if I squint and turn my head, she looks like a bunny.
