After careful evaluation of current market place realities and underlying economic considerations, we've decided that this was not the appropriate time to launch a graphic adventure on the PC
Wonderful when people register just to ask the question that already had a thread of its own. If this forum suffers from one problem, it´s multiple threads on the same topic, made by people to damn lazy to open their eyes.
This is what I got:
"The release date of this game is "When it's done". Anything else, and we mean anything else is someone's speculation. There is no date. We don't know any date. If you have a friend who claims they have "inside info", or there's some game news site, or some computer store at the mall who claims they know - they do not. They are making it up. There is no date. Period."
Telltale just announced that they will release the game when people stop posting "when will it be released" threads. So in other words, it's not coming out, EVER!
Episode? Tales of Monkey Island is the first MI game to depart from the classic chapter-based format and is instead split into 7 books, each representing a year in Guybrush's education at a hidden school for Pirates

Hmm... That doesn't sound quite right. I think it's only 5 books.
(jargon) When It's Done - A manufacturer's non-answer to questions about product availability. This answer allows the manufacturer to pretend to communicate with their customers without setting themselves any deadlines or revealing how behind schedule the product really is. It also sounds slightly better than "We don't know".
We already got episode 4! It was sent out to all the good little boys and girls who didn't post "WHERE EP 4!?" topics. We also got free puppies and cookies!
Nooo... I don't think so... That seems to early... But will it be out before there are a total number of five of these threads? I think we're at four....
I have a photo of my wife looking for the remote behind the sofa... its one of my all time favorite photos... and most people like it more than my art on my deviantart page.
Do you have an official release date?
Not yet. When we have a date to announce, we'll post it right here in this thread, and on the blog (like we always do). Until then, "October" will have to suffice I'm sorry to say!
From the Chapter "stickied" 4 topic. So it's officially in October.

Yum!
I think my city is hell.
It's damn cold in my city right now.
It should be out soon.
