The PP appreciation thread... (SPOILERS)

I love that Pyrite Parrot :)

Even though all that Pyrite Parrot does is repeat "It's me, Guybrush Threepwood, mighty pirate!", I felt kinda bad when he got melted in Episode 2, only to be relieved when he came back at the end.

I think it's a testament to the quality writing that I can become attached to an inanimate object with just one line in the whole series.

Kudos, TTG. Here's hoping the Parrot makes it all the way through!

Actually, what he says is "It's me, Guybrush Threepwood: Mighty Pirate."

    :)

I got a few laughs out of the parrot, but I think we should leave it be. I did get pretty annoyed with it near the end. I think they should've kept it melted and lost in the sea. They could've brought it back during season 2 for a good joke

While I agree that the joke gets old pretty quickly, I can think of a large number of situations in a courtroom where "It's me, Guybrush Threepwood, mighty pirate" could be amusing/awkward/unlucky.
So we'll probably see it return in this episode.

Very true indeed. Who is this in this photo of someone stealing a unbreakable bottle opener? "It's Me Guybrush Threepwood, Mighty Pirate" I can see it now.

(A little joke for all the Spanish people here: )
When I saw the title of this thread I thought: "Well, I know that most politicians of the PP are corrupt pirates, but an appreciation thread here is too much..."
