    Die.

Haha, nah, just kidding! I would be angry though and probably send and post a million complaints across the internet!

I'd be disappointed I guess. It wouldn't be the end of the world though.

The first time was funny, doing it again after over eight years of waiting though would just be cruel. Nothing to get too upset over though. Just go out and drink to sky's limit with some buddies.

I would go "oh" and then shrug? Possibly saying "that's a shame"

"Figures!" then do a search again and make sure that it was in fact fake.

I would've played the old games again, and been disappointed

I'd be bummed..Not as much as when they (LucasArts) KEPT CANCELING ALL THE ADVENTURE GAMES Ala Sam & Max and Full Throttle. You'd see the announcements! YAY! :) You'd see preview pictures! YAY! And then you'd see the big red CANCELED! BOO! :(

Actually, to tell the truth I kinda thought "it must be a hoax! nah, it can't be true... unfortunately..." the moment I saw info about ToMI in a magazine... I recall it was awfully close to the first of April that I first saw it, too, but then I started reading and was happy to learn that it was for real :)

But if I figured out that it was a hoax, I would have been terribly disappointed.

Probably send hateful emails a few weeks to random people.

    Step one:
Add Ron Gilbert and TTG to my death list.
    Step two:
    Follow my death list.
    Step three:
    Get arrested.
    Step four:
Hire Stan. (No, he's not GT lawyer, he's mine!)
    Step five:
    Lose the trial.
    Step six:
    Go to Ol' Sparky.
    Step seven:
Find out it's not a hoax.
    Step eight:
    Die.
    Step nine:
    Haunt the "F" outta everybody.
    Step ten:
Write a ten step response to what I'd do if I found out ToMI was a hoax.
    END

I would have been bitterly disappointed, but I would have lived because my MI mania had died down considerably in the years between Escape and Tales (which weren't that many since I only played Escape three years ago...)

Now if Tales had been canceled, then I would have done terrible, terrible things...

I would be pretty disappointed, but I'd probably get over it, because Escape sucked (no offense to whoever liked it) and I would have thought "this one would probably suck too".
I'd be pretty miffed at Telltale Games, but that wouldn't stop me from buying moar Sam & Max.
