Sponge reused?

Anyone noticed it? I think La Esponja Grande is the same model than the sponge Stinky is using on Sam&Max 202. :D
And, by the way: I know Guybrush is not supposed to speak Spanish, but you should try to improve your gammar.
"La Esponja Pequeño"?
What the...??!! Try to use the correct grammatical gender the next time.

    Grande is a neutral word. There is no granda. Everything is grande.

    Just so TTG knows you shouldn't reuse the same sponge too often, that is how germs and bacteria spreads.

    I'm pretty darn sure Stinky's sponge was your basic rectangular shaped sponge. Same with Paneer's. I could be wrong.

    Maybe you don't understand that Guybrush is obviously not a native speaker, so he's bound to make some mistakes.

    I never see people get this worked up over translation mistakes to English. Remember Star War The Third Gathers: The Backstroke of the West? It inspired nothing more than hilarity.

    Yes,
    La Esponja Pequeña
    is the correct term, but it's really not a big deal. It's a sponge. It's just happy to sit there, doing whatever sponges do to pass the time.

    I like to think they write beautiful novels. But, with the sea being the unfeeling wench that it is, the ink is washed away before anybody can read them. Therein lies the eternal curse of the sponge.

    With all of that going on, they don't have time to worry about gender identity issues. They take no umbrage towards those with a vague verbal veracity in matters bilingual.

    In short, why can't we all be a little more like our spongy brethren? They may be filled with holes, but they are also filled with soul.

    And by the way I know you aren't supposed to speak English but:

    "gammar" - grammar
    "the same model than the sponge" - THAT the sponge
    "using on Sam&Max 202" - using IN Sam&Max
    "gender the next time" - gender next time
    "I didn't said so" - I didn't SAY so

    Turns out it isn't so simple. Seeing as you are fluent in English and still made mistakes shows how Guybrush can easily make one.

    Perhaps the precise wording was used to irritate those who aren't sponge worthy.
