De Cava's Crew based on Ninja Turtles?

Hey guys, I just realized something interesting. I might be overanalyzing it, but I see some similarities in the personalities of De Cava's crew and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. For instance, Moose resembles Michaelangelo, with his laid-back, surfer dude persona, Noogie resembles Donatello in his nerdy and somewhat clumsy manner, Bugeye resembles Raphael with his overall moodiness and Santino represents Leonardo in that he is very well-rounded and probably the most overall skilled, but with an otherwise bland personality. What do you guys think?

Now that you mentioned it, it kinda makes sense. De Cava doesn's have any similarities to Splinter tho. Nothing that I can think of at least.

I think your overanalyzing it... ;)

Seriously though, they are fairly standard character types.

I thought they were based on Telltale's founders. Bugeye is Dan Connors (scary guy!), Noogie is Kevin Bruner (Ugly Glasses Telltale) and Santiago is that third guy nobody talks about anymore. And Moose is ... Theodore Dudebrough. Seriously, check out the hair.

I think that it is just archetypes that has been around since, I dunno, probably Shakespeare, in his famous play "Youthfull Testudines Magically Transformed to Human-like Creatures Possessing Skills of Battle Not Unlike Those of Far East Origin".

It was an early play, and he was not too good with titles yet.

Murray? I also love that you feel you need to tell us who you are. Because, like, there weren't any credits for episode three. That people liked so much they ripped and posted them to youtube. And it's gotten over 500 views.

That post cracked me up.. Wasn't Randy Tudor the 3rd guy that was a Telltale founder?

Telltale was founded by Dan Connors, Kevin Bruner, and Troy Molander.

Nobody's disturbed I referred to Dan Connors as "scary"? Or Dudebrough as a real person? You people are getting harder and harder to rile up ...

I think santino resembling leonardo is reaaaaaaaally far fetched.

Well, De Cava said he was tough on his crew members, but that they were like sons to him. That sounds like Splinter. Also, they have some similar facial features.
