Monkey in my pocket (no, not a new tribute) Dom and TT
Guys,
I listened to the line about six times... I honestly don't know if this had anything to do with me or if it was written long before we had the pleasure of collaborating (flashmovies and stuff)... but it left me speechless, with a warm fuzzy feeling of joy and happiness.
Hearing Dom sing the new lyrics to this little tune after all these years...wow. As I said, I don't know if he had anything to do with it directly, or if it was someone else's idea, but thank you Dom, and thank you Telltale!
Brilliant episode, your best yet, can't wait for the next one!
(also thank you for mentioning my name in the credits)

I'm also curious on when and who decided on this.

Me too!
Examine the monkey in episode 4 after you picked it up and compare it to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sXsfSySaIE

If you're not careful, we're going to end up with something like the 6th sense tarot card.
Especially if you add Silverwolf's self parody with his Professor of Monkeyology's monkey in his pocket.
Nobody mention that, or we might get sucked into that six-senc...
AHHHhhhhhhhhh...
Oh, I didn't know that, never went through every single singing line when I played MI3.
But now I am even MORE curious as wheter the line was included as a nod to MI3 or Silverwolf.
Most likely MI3 since people did played the songs that Guybrush sings. Why else would they add "A pirate I was meant to be" in the 2nd chapter?
I mean, wasn't he in the credits for it? I kinda skipped the credits, I only watch credits if there's Murray in them.
And, if nothing else, this must greatly increase your impetus to create more Monkey Island movies and music (and assorted other art). Which is good for all of us.
How was the trial bad because of the X? I think it's funny Guybrushes comment "I thought there would be three" comment, and the fact that you solve it by simple interrogation, like in court (or Phoenix Wright).
I don't even think you could rant about it for ten minutes, much less an hour.
