Guybrush Threepwood and JD from Scrubs...

I don't know why, but i was playing through Ep 4 last night... and it kinda hit me... Guybrush reminded me of JD from scrubs... the kinda clumsy hero etc... The talking to himself... the outrageous ideas and speech.

Anyone else notice this at all... Guybrush Threepwood - a Piratey JD, or to be more accurate. JD - a Doctory Guybrush Threepwood. With being a fan since Monkey Island 1, it's clear to me where TV shows get their ideas from eh! lol

I get that kind of feeling now and then.
When he asks outside the courtroom how the pox is treating the bailiff, he reminded me of Niles from Frasier. Dunno why.

That's why I still think that Zach Braff would make the perfect live-action Guybrush.

Now that you think about it... yes, he does make a good Guybrush.

As long as he isn't involved in the screenplay or any other production process.

Except for one thing, Guybrush is cool and actually funny, while JD is not.

    I gotta disagree...
Guybrush wouldn't be played well by him I don't think... I'm trying to put my finger on why not.

Yeah, perhaps because his face isn't really rectangly enough.
