Iustitia, not Lustitia

Come on, did no one notice the Latin mistake in the courtroom? The Roman goddess of Justice was Iustitia (I and J are interchangeable in Latin). It seems someone at Telltale misread the I as a lowercase L and came up with "Lustitia"!

Seems to me "Lustitia" would be a better name for the Goddess of Wenches...

Oh, *idiot*! In Latin Jehovah begins with an "I"!

Is this a good facepalm moment?

As a Dutchman I noticed this immediately. The organization of public prosecutors here is called after this goddess.
Ministerie van Justitie = Department of Justice.

I assume it's not an error but a joke though. There are a lot of covert sex jokes already in this game. This is probably just one of them.

It´s definately a joke. You can click on the word and have a little chat with the judge about it.

I thought it was a pun derived from lust, which made more sense as a joke

well it could be argued that these are uneducated pirate sorts.... and they wouldn't have known the difference anyway.... Seriously you wouldn't think about Lewis and Clark being uneducated but their journals were full of misspelled words and joking about cruelty towards a black man.

When I read the thread's title I immediately thought it was a sexual joke, so I'm going to guess that it is one as intended.
