Should Guybrush get a new look in season 2?

Each game so far we have seen a new Guybrush should TTG keep that tradition and change him up a little?

    I voted for "same model new clothes", but only because I'm hoping he'll sell that awesome coat on ebay.

    I'd like to see Guybrush in a new outfit, but I don't think a new model is necessary. They've already got his proportions down pat.

    Maybe a new hairstyle would work.

    I voted same model new outfit... I really like this version of GT but I do like that he changes in each game.... BTW for people who skipped over MI4 he actually had a few outfit changes in that game...

    I suppose you could also count the pink dress in MI2

    Any other outfit... And maybe some modification of his beard. Leaving him the same would break the tradition.

    a new outfit... but please keep his beard... if you want to change it maybe just make it a little shorter but i reallly love the new guybrush. Ke kinda looks like a playa :D!

    I've never been keen on his pointy chin and goatee beard nor the top heavy quiff on his hair.
    I preferred the good looking but hapless look of mi1 and mi2.

    New clothes, because of tradition (I like him the way he is now).

    Maybe new facial-hair?

    New model, make him look older. He is getting up in the years now. But, I'd be happy if they kept him as is or changed the outfit too

    Why not have a Guybrush Dress-Up doll feature in the settings? Choose your own set of clothes, hair and facial hair and color. There are no FMVs, so I assume having having a selection of skins shouldn't be too difficult to add, would it?

    I always liked the MI2 design, with the beard and captain's jacket n' whatnot. So when I saw the design for Tales' Guybrush, I was pretty happy. If anything were to change, I'd like to more facial hair. :D

    Oooh, yeah, like the unlockable outfits in the newer Tomb Raider games. That'd be awesome, come to think of it. Find certain, optional items in Tales to unlock new outfits for Guybrush...

    ... or they could have been released as prizes for the treasure map hunt. Maybe that'd work better?


    Still, back fully on topic, I think in season 2 I'd vote like most of you, and go for same model, new outfit. Even though I love the MI2-ness of his current get-up - I don't want him to start smelling :p

    It would be cool to see how many different Guybrush concept drawings there are that Ryan did.

    If there is a season 2.
    Slightly changed model (to reflect somehow episode 5 events)
    Clothing, similar but not the same (I think GT can use a change of clothes, that bacon smell is not good for too long)

    I'm sort of inspired.... maybe I will chop some "guybrush concepts" myself for giggles.

    Also I think that Ryan better be back as the concept artist if they make a season 2, he was quite the find and we are lucky they had him imagine if ToMI had the same concept artist as the Special Edition had *shudders*

    I'd like to see him loose the beard again but that's just me. My question is (Spoiler, sort of, if you are not up to date with Tales)
    what will the next evaluation of LeChuck be?

    New design is a must.
    Model can stay the same, as the overall appearance of Guybrush only changed due to the jump from low-res to hi-res, and from 2D to 3D and... from low-poly to hi-poly.

    So yea, even if the coat just gets recolored to red, Guybrush must get at least partially new clothes if there's a season 2. :)

    I'll vote same model, new clothes. But, I must point out, if a season 2 is made, will it still be "Tales" of Monkey Island? If so, I have a hard time trying to picture season 1 and season 2 as different games.
    If that makes sense. =\ I can't find the right words to say, haha.

    For example, I count Sam & Max Hit the Road to be one game, and Sam & Max s1 & 2 to be one game. Is this..odd of me to do?

    I don't think they are going to outright call it Tales of Monkey Island Season 2 because they have never referred to the game as a season. If anything it would be Tales of Monkey Island 2. (That is if they are feeling uncreative, which writers often are when it comes to names :p)

    I just love his actual outfit.. Maybe a longer jacket would be cool, or he could manage to get Stan's one!

    SE truly is bad...

    It's a great model. The beard has to change though. Not go altogether... we all know how proud Guybrush is to be able to grow one. But he's definitely the sort to try out different looks.

    What with
    his death, maybe he can come back from the dead without his clothes. We get a naked Guybrush for a little while, and he can get some new threads for the next season?

    If they bring back another past outfit, I'd quite like to see the return of the red coat from MI4. That ouftit doesn't get enough love. :P

    I love the way Guybrush looks. If they can go for a longer coat, yes please! Otherwise, I can deal with changes of the same severity as a hook hand. :)

    Red doesn't suit Guybrush and it's for the Navy (yes, I know, Naval officers wore blue sometimes too). I think he should wear bad-ass black. Or maybe pink? :)

    I think take away the beard or at least some of it pointey-ness. Maybe give him stubble all over instead? I dunno, just a thought.

    As for clothes, I'd like see a return of the white shirt, crossing brown strap and big belt. Very piratey, I think. Also black boots for the next one, the current ones are too light of a brown for me.

    I would like to keep the hook.

    Also get rid of the HUGE strand of hair that dangles, I think its weird.
