The one you use to pry the turtle artifact out of the rock!

    Scumm Bar obviously.....

I love the atmosphere in Bloody Lip, even if it's just one small screen. Especially with Jojo playing the piano.

But overall, I think Scumm Bar wins for its great atmosphere and being the first indoor location you (normally) see in SMI. If you played them all chronologically, especially if you played them around the time of release, that bar have most likely made a huge impact on your love for Monkey Island.

It's a close one between the Scumm bar and Club 41, but ultimately I went with the Scumm bar. Mostly because Club 41 was... rather empty. And that was disappointing. D:

(And who can resist the guy spinning on the chandelier?)

Anyway, i picked Scumm.. but Club 41 was very close!

Scumm followed by the Bloody Lip (just because of those awesome colored drinks).

Scumm Bar is great. It's also got sentimental value.
But I think Club 41 looks nicer. If only they'd had interesting characters there other than the judge and Krebbs...

EMI had nice bars honestly...I liked the one with the manatee ride in it.

Gotta be the SCUMM bar, nothing beats it for atmosphere.

SCUMM Bar, best Pirate bar in the series that actually had pirates in it!

I went with the Goodsoup Hotel Bar... because it really feels like a safe haven among all the doom and gloom on Blood Island. Plus the fact that you get to chat with the barkeep and learn a lot about him and the island is a great bonus.

The Scumm Bar, but it and the Bloody Lip are REAL close. They both had very different atmospheres, and both were great. But I just think that the Scumm Bar just pulled off jovial piratey fun really well. It just worked, I think.

Yeah. One thing that made me think twice before choosing was that Club 41 feels rather empty compared with CoMI's bar and the SCUMM bar.

It's only after reading this thread that I come to realize that, in fact, there is sort of a pirate bar in every single Monkey Island game...

    Starbuccaneers doesn't count? :D

Just kidding: thumbs up for the Scumm Bar!
