    Pff, I wish it was coming out November 14. Not only did I finish playing the whole series again last night, but it would be the most awesome birthday present ever.

    Darn, I was hoping you were asking "Where is Chapter 5?" I thought I'd be voting for a location, not a date... I'm disappointed.

    Anyway, I think Chapter 5 is around 7 miles north of Mumbai.

    I'm hoping for some sort of hell where guybrush has to make up for his sins and we'll see old characters reappear that he's wronged, killed like the guy he throws off the cliff in CMI...that was wicked sick, just plain out bad...

    Guybrush survived it several times, and that guy looked like he would bounce much better then thin Guybrush, so he shouldn't have a problem with it.

    I bet it will come out on either the 27th or 30th November.. right when I go overseas without a computer for two weeks.... :(

    I'm hoping for an early-mid december date. I won't have my laptop until the (my 3 week old one is being sent back due to not working right, but my new one will take 3 weeks to deliver)

    Also, they will then have more time to make sure the game is perfect.

    I'm always surprised there are people who think TTG will miss their deadline.

    Would a person striving after social acceptance write a sentence like that? Definetly not. He would never admit feeling good about answering the same as others.

    I'd rather think it's a subtle way of telling others of how superior I am, since I actually thought "the majority of people in here would probably reason that since TTG abandoned the release on tuesdays and just bluntly shipped just before deadline, it'll be the same this time"- sooo, I'm gonna vote the same and feel happy if I hit it.

    The common denominator for us internet hotshots; an ego like a big open wound. Even now I acknowledge my post just reeks of "oh, look at me how smart am I?", but that's ok. I get sick of myself from time to time too.

    Yay I got celebrations too! 27th November is the anniversary of my first day of service at sea and since I'll be needing a few days to regain consciousness after that I voted for 30th :D

    @onlyamonkey: It seems to be quite common to get sick of oneself. Kinda happening to me as well :D

    It won't release on the 26th, that's Thanksgiving holiday in the US. It might not hit the 27th either due to the holiday, because most businesses take Thursday and Friday off. I don't know TTG's holiday schedule, so I can't say for sure about the 27th, but I'm 99.9% sure if won't hit on the 26th.

    Well, chapter 3 wasn't released on the 19th of September either - although that was "Talk like a pirate day"...

    Yes and Chapter 1 wasn't released on 4 July despite that being Independence Day in Amerikaa, and Chapter 2 wasn't released on 1 August despite that being both the anniversary of Francis Scott Key's birthday and the launch date of MTV (:rolleyes:), and Chapter 4 wasn't released on 31 October despite being Halloween and my best (guy) friend's birthday!! What a rip!!

    Voted in the other poll, did the same feeling thing in this one, ended up with the exact same result, if that isn't a sign I don't know what is.

    November 26, I got the feeling, I pointed my mouse, I clicked. Yes, I can feel it, it will happen!

    This episode is actually the one I'm waiting the least for, there are a lot of cool games released now that one just needs to play, AC 2, COD:MW2, Dragon Age Origins, L4D2.... so many drool worthy games ;)

    I was going to guess December 4th.

    But now I'm starting to feel convinced about it coming out on Black Friday (a week before).

    Btw, what do you guys think: will we get an at least one week ahead announcement of the release date (I reckon time's running out for that) or will it be like with EP4 where we got to know the date like two days in advance?

    I'll be 22... still young enough to remember my birthday. I had been excited about the end of this month because of the last chapter, then I realised it was my birth month... I was more excited about Monkey Island than my own Birthday...

    Seriously, if they have to take an couple extra weeks and release the next game sometime in December, I won't care, because they'll have time to make the ending truly epic. Monkey Island deserves no less, not with the awesome buildup to it.
