Monkey Island + Other Lucasarts Games

If I was to list the following games on ebay as a package, what could I expect to get for them.

Games are all original, however I do not have any of the boxes, most of them came from the Lucasarts Archives box sets.
  • Monkey Island Madness CD Includes The Secret of Monkey Island and Lechucks Revenge with playable demo of CMI
  • The Curse Of Monkey Island
  • Escape From Monkey Island
  • Day of the Tentacle
  • Full Throttle
  • The Dig
  • Sam N Max Hit the Road
  • Indiana Jones and the FATE of ATLANTIS

I am seriously considering listing as a bundle, all Cd's in good playable condition.

Why Ubisoft don't put old Monkey Island in a web shop ? it's impossible to find them on internet...

Because they haven't the rights, perhaps? Maybe Activision could do it, though...

People don't really care about LucasArts old games :(
    Sad but true

If it was an original CD of the the earlier Final Fantasys people would pay $999

What are you guys on about? Neither Ubisoft nor Activision have rights to LucasArts games.

Activision did a couple of years ago several re-editions of LucasArts games, at least in Spain: Mostly adventure games (Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Full Throttle, Sam & Max Hit the Road, The Dig, Grim Fandango, Curse of Monkey Island), and several non-adventure games too (Outlaws, Jedi Knight -with Mysteries of the Sith in the same DVD case-, Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy, Republic Commando, KOTOR II, etc...)

in France : Activision sells all Monkey Island and Ubisoft sells Monkey Island 4 (Escape from Monkey Island)

so maybe they have (or had) some rights

Ah, no wonder I'm confused. They must have outsourced the licenses to those companies to release in foreign countries. I have a feeling they were only distribution deals, though. I doubt they could throw the games on an online store, for instance. That's something only LucasArts could do.

i try to contact LucasArts to speak about this but it's very hard to speak with the correct person :)

If anyone have contact with LucasArts, PM ;)

From what I observed on eBay, since most of those are archive editions and/or original cds without boxes or anything, probably you will be getting about 10 us dollars for each game. Might be hard to sell as a bundle since any LucasArts fans browsing your auction might not want to buy a bunch of games they already have to fill in one or two holes in their collection.

I think that Monkey Island Madness cd is rare. I've seen bids on that go up to 40 and 50 dollars before for just the cd.

If I had none of the original disc/ks anymore, I'd consider paying £100 ($160) for it. However, I still have MI1&2 and MI4, complete with boxes. I'm not letting those go, ever.

I wouldn't expect much. There's SE of Monkey 1, Indy and The Dig are on Steam. Copies of Full Throttle, CMI, EMI and Sam & Max are still available in LucasArts Classic -series (at least around here).

Monkey 2 and Day of the Tentacle are only games which are hard to find as new, so you can get something for those. I don't know any reason why I would buy used versions of other games.

Thanks for the feedback. Due to the fact people beleive they would not be worth much I will hold on to them.

Great games all of them and I would probably have regretted selling them any way.
