Monkey Island Theme on Spanish TV!!

The Monkey Island Theme was featured on a program called G-20 on Telecinco yesterday (Monday 16th November 2009).

It's one of these satirical shows where they mock politicians etc. President Zapatero was plonker of the day for his role in the handling of some real somalian pirates who commandeered a Spanish fishing boat.

Did anyone else based in Spain see this? Here's the link if your interested. I wonder if they paid Monkey Royalties for use of the tune?

Hahaha, I've heard about this show from my family back in Spain but never actually saw it. That's pretty funny.

Spanish TV is rather low quality, apparently.

Some American TV is pretty low quality too... haven't you watched anything on the CW?

Anyone else noticed Jack Sparrow at the end of the clip, too?
