The Actual Isle of Monkey Island?

I know there's no rule or anything to say that it must be so, but will any of TMI be set on Monkey Island itself? I have absiloutly no problem if this isn't the case.

    Doesn't look like it will be in this game, but never know, maybe the secret of Monkey Island is that it's actually the
    land of the dead?

    After reading Jazzy's post, I think it's possible chapter 5 could be set in the Monkey Island catacombs, though other than
    Guybrush being dead
    I don't have much evidence to support this theory.

    Won't be long until we find out now!

    doesn't seem that we will see monkey island.

    but there is an artwork of
    lechuck's ship
    ... maybe it will be deep under
    monkey island
    ...


    but there are still some monkey island references in the chapters, so it's okay!!!

    The actual Island itself will be tough to bring back, since most the main part of it was destroyed in Escape, it'd be up to Telltale if they decide to keep it like that, which is a big choice really.

    Monkey Island could be part of chapter 5, for instance as the gateway between the world of the dead and the world of the living. It's safe to assume, however, that we will not explore it in the same way as in SMI and EMI - if the island is featured at all.
