Yep, expect it some time in the afternoon Pacific time. (or around 13 hours from now.)

Yeah, it is. They even made a blog post to tell us it wasn't going to happen.

Yep! So sorry, but the game is still being worked on as we speak. We're not putting it on ice and kicking back for half a day before sending it off, we're literally giving it to you as soon as we safely do so. Having played through it, I honestly think it's worth the wait, every single second.

    Less than a day wait!

But still working on it doesnt mean that you have some big problems which could risc the release for today?

The only way they could really do that would be if they posted the release date as the day after they expect the game to be done, and then when they finish the game, sit around and wait until midnight to release it. There'd be no way for a midnight launch to get us the game earlier than when it's finished, really.

Yeah, I'd imagine that it would be bad to send copies out to the press if there was something major worth panicking about in it.

Isn't that kind of midnight in Frisco right now?

Working overnight to get a project done is just one of the prices to pay for becoming a game dev.

Or a college student, or a parent. I pretty much had to tell myself "you liked sleeping before? Well, forget about it" several times before heading into art college. I MISS SLEEP. Naps are sometimes nice though.
