Is it available now?

The Tales of Monkey Island page on the games themselves says that Rise of the Pirate God is available now. What is the download link so we can try it out, as it has not appeared in "My Games".

    Available Now?

All this kind of reminds me of something...
    Colonel Sandurz: Try here. Stop.
Dark Helmet: What the hell am I looking at? When does this happen in the movie?
Colonel Sandurz: Now. You're looking at now, sir. Everything that happens now, is happening now.
Dark Helmet: What happened to then?
    Colonel Sandurz: We passed then.
    Dark Helmet: When?
Colonel Sandurz: Just now. We're at now now.
Dark Helmet: Go back to then.
    Colonel Sandurz: When?
    Dark Helmet: Now.
    Colonel Sandurz: Now?
    Dark Helmet: Now.
    Colonel Sandurz: I can't.
    Dark Helmet: Why?
    Colonel Sandurz: We missed it.
    Dark Helmet: When?
    Colonel Sandurz: Just now.
Dark Helmet: When will then be now?
    Colonel Sandurz: Soon.
    Dark Helmet: How soon?

Ugh, sorry for the confusion. That messaging is off due to some weirdness in the way that page behaves with the product data.

I clicked around the games pages but I couldn't find any of this "available now" or any error messages.

The directory on the CDN that it'll be under should be: http://telltale.vo.llnwd.net/o15/games/monkeyisland/riseofthepirategod/

It changed from 404 (meaning does not exist) to 403 (meaning exists but is forbidden) a few minutes ago. I imagine the upload of the executable will soon follow.

Please don't post direct links to where you think the game willl appear on the servers. When the game is ready, Telltale will give you the link.

We are looking at an APPROXIMATE of 2 hours from now. This is a ballpark figure, but it will be released "today" according to Pacific Standard Time.

Just pretend you finished it, are happy, and want to go to sleep!

And it ended for some reason with Guybrush becoming a sandwich who likes to sing and dance.

Don't know why I partake in this late night release date circus anymore, the outcome is always the same, I'm off to bed.

Thank you for the news, I either won’t wait until 4 am, because I’ll be to tired to enjoy the game… too bad, my day’s full tomorrow… anyway, I’m convinced it’s worth the wait*:)

me too - I'm off to bed. i appreciate the great work but i would like to second what a previous poster said - next time can your internal deadline be one day before the release date!. Best wishes.

    So what is it?
    (only joking)
  • edited December 2009
Love the game but you guys do really need to get better at release dates. Of course i don't know the internals so i don't know why you guys keep ending up with these late releases.

Oh by the way when you say it will be released "today" do you mean that literally or do you mean it in the way that you originally said that an episode would be released once each month i.e. it will not be released today and may be released tomorrow or later?

I don't think I'm being out of order it's just that you guys make great games but are a bit, well, strange with your deadlines so I just wanted this cleared up. :)

Basically I think what we have the right to know (having paid already) is will it in fact BE released TODAY?....PST time of course

    Seriously?
