    You can't get it on your first trip. Just
    grab the mug and then return to club 41 in ghostly form and see if you can't get anything done from there

    1.
    You need to find the gum the voodoo lady tells you about
    2.
    It's in the jail cell the voodoo lady was in.
    3.
    You can surrender to go to jail.
    4.
    Look around the first cell, until you find something..........insightful.

    That's not a complete solution but should put you on the right track.

    Ok, I need to get the item for "guidance". I'm assuming that it's the
    sextant
    , but I can't figure out how to get it.

    Please, just give me hints, not a full blown solution.

    where do I find the
    spirit gum
    ? The stuff in the
    jail cell
    apparently isn't the right stuff.

    One of them is the right one but you need to find something that reacts with the spiritual essence of the gum so you can tell which piece it is.
    The mug might be a good vessel to contain this
    .

    Okay, grand finale time. I'm stuck in the crossroads having beaten LeChuck. What next? Or did I screw up somehow?

    EDIT: Ah, never mind. Just remember the first spell and everything's fine.

    Is anybody ready to tell us about the parrots now? Im sure I need them for my diet, but I have nothing to catch them with. I also need something to wash my socks I guess.

    Look on the ocean floor for the item you need. And you don't need to wash the socks, there's something else to deal with smell.

    Be proactive! Click on things, talk to people, try and find puzzles to solve. You're still Guybrush, here! :)

    Okay, I've got an inkling it's the cannon I'm meant to do something with but Guybrush says he hasn't the energy to get up there, but then there's the keys under the keel but there's no cursor while under the ship.

    I don't know how to do spoiler tags on this forum, so spoilers follow.


    Okay, so I'm in the early stages of the game (apparently). I just got the dog, gave him the sock, and now he's barking at Galeb. (Or Gabel. Or Vickie.) I have in my inventory the shred of life, the grog, the money, the tip jar, the anchor, the sock, and a photo of me. I have no idea what to do at this point, because Galeb keeps giving me the runaround.

    If you had a method to gain someone's trust, it would have been clearly introduced as such when you got it.

    Answer:
    You have to show the thief LeChuck's belt buckle you found in the chest upon entering the rift in the treasure place

    I've completed every part of
    the Diet of the Senses
    except for the
    covering of the eyes
    . I keep thinking that the solution should be
    the eye coins, but I can't get any more, because my dollar bills are too wrinkly for the vending machine
    .

    Nope, Spork! Remember the first episode of ToMI when Guybrush was a probationary Club 41 member? You should take a look in the club to refresh your memory.

    I'm having a MAJOR human le chuck moment here... could be the lack of sleep trying to stay up.

    Got dog, in thief's lair. Need help. Don't know what it needs to smell. Thought it be secret box. STUCK

    OK, so I'm stuck in the Crossroads needing the sacrifice, Morgan talks about having some ideas, but wants me to do the rest of the parts first, I have. Is this a bug or intended?

    Edit: nevermind, after a few clicks of the same conversation option, she finally gave in...

    The dog needs to smell the sock. If you examine the sock, the thief will offer it to you. You will get creative to find the treasure

    The fact there are two gum items in the jailcell caught me out. Darn the darkness of the pictures.

    Ok so I've just got my body back but I cant seem to pick up the gum in the prison. Guybrush says he's already found the spirit gum, I've clicked on the gum on the bars and on the ceiling...he ate it but spat it out and now he wont touch it. What can I do?

    Are you sure he's already found the spirit gum? You'll need to use an item from your inventory for that.

    Guybrush doesn't know which gum is the spirit gum.
    You can't get the gum the first time around.
    Have you gotten any items from the jail cell?
    You need to get the mug from the jail cell.
    Maybe you should follow Winslow's advice and check out your body from spirit form.
    See anything different about your body?
    There's a mug in your hand now.
    What's lying above your body?
    Get the judge to throw a dart at the root beer barrels by scaring him.
    Okay, so now go back and have Winslow send you to your body again, and get thrown in jail.
    So what do you now have in your inventory that SPIRITs respond to?

    Answer:
    Use root beer with windowsill
