Hey Telltale! Bug on Swordfighter Island maybe

I was just messing around with the game on a second run through, and noticed a small bug on the swordfighting island. Immediately after the decapitated man leaves, if I do not talk to Morgan but choose rather to use the mast to leave, Guybrush leaves the screen with the animation, but the cursor remains on Mo's screen- Guybrush is down below. You are unable to interact with anything, but can open inventory. I simply reloaded to the autosave and then talked to Mo first- no problem after that.

Jeez, you're already playing again? Just going through the first time left me so emotionally drained I'm having trouble even looking at the forums. I'ma need some distance before I can even think about playing again.

I had the same problem. But loading the autosave "fixed" it :)

i had the same issue, twice actually - first time i saved then loaded it which fixed it, the second time i just walked to the right and it corrected the camera when i went down the stairs

Boo. Thanks for bringing that to our attention, though!

Yeah, click and drag the mouse to the lower right and you should 'walk off' to the next scene.

Also "The Bug on Swordfighter Island" is a great horrible great spinoff-series name.

I also have this problem and can't continue with the game :(

I'll try the suggestions above and get back to you...

    Spoiler warning Please

I don't know how to do spoiler text, sadly, so I won't give much away other than to say that saving and loading again worked for me, but NOT the first time I tried it :/

I think one needs to close the game completely then reload from a saved point.

By the way, I encountered a visual bug in ch. 5. If I walked behind the large gate in the middle of the crossroads, Guybrush would partially disappear. If I did this while in spirit form, only his skeleton would remain:

It only happens in a small area, just behind the gate.

I noticed that too, Bagge, I thought it was pretty cool! Your picture captures it well!

As with any game there are a few little glitches here and there. Grindstump says "Ga-Gargh!" (i.e. the audio skips) every time you pull a scary face, until when you pull one and pour the root beer into the mug.

The 'rip' to the left of the Gateway requires the player to press the side or forward arrow key to actually cross over to the other side to Winslow's raft (and not just stay in the graveyard, but concealed in the rip).

Sometimes in the finale, LeChuck won't show up at one of the positions on the ship (i.e. so the cycle is unable to continue), so you have to reload.

And if we're getting SUPER picky, there were some grammatical errors that were rather out of character for a MI game... such as Guybrush saying something like "You're looking at the guy who defeated LeChuck all by themselves" (it should be 'himself'), or misspellings/misquotations in the subtitles...

BUT - to be perfectly honest, none of that bothers me at all. It didn't even bother me when I did have to reload because the aforementioned glitch, because this series has just been such a fabulously entertaining piece of gaming perfection... that I'm pretty darn happy. In fact, I'm glad it has a few hiccups, it makes it feel more real and more pirate-like. And I'm just grateful to Telltale for resurrecting the MI franchise. I was really scared that I'd never see it again.

I of course can understand the frustration of having a glitch that forces you to lose lots of saved game data... but hey, we've waited this long for the game, what are a few minutes of reloading and replaying going to do? :P

Wow, that's weird (and gross)! But kinda cool.

Hmmm... if I had to guess I'd say it is the invisible part of La Esponha(sic!) Grande being rendered into the Z buffer thus preventing the transparent part of Guybrush from being painted due to the Zs test telling the graphics card his pixels are behind the sponge...

I guess many people don't know because there's no button for it, like there is for quotes, links or the like. Will there be one added? That would make it way easier to hide spoilers properly.
